My dog was suddenly losing weight rapidly so we rushed her to Hampton Roads Veterinary Urgent Care. The staff took immediate action and were so professional. They ran a bunch of tests and diagnosed her with atypical Addison's disease. They explained the disease thoroughly so we could understand it properly and next steps. We were prepared for a high bill but were pleasantly surprised with the affordable services. We will definitely bring all our animals here in the future!

We had an emergency with our cockatiel pretty late at night , they were able to get us in late at night and we're very helpful and reassuring , Dr.Howard was very polite and knowledgeable , the staff was great and everything was done in a very timely manner . Will definitely be visiting again these things always seem to happen at the worst time and they were open and willing to see us .

My little dog wasn’t feeling well so we brought him in. He was seen almost immediately and the staff couldn’t have been more kind and understanding. I trust this place with my pets!

These people are completely amazing. we came in late at night and with no hesitation helped diagnos my dog and got us in and out like true professionals!

My dog cut his foot badly late at night on a Sunday, and I brought him in about 30 min before they closed. The clinic staff were all wonderful. Dr. Smithwick did a great job stitching him up, and we got excellent instructions and left with all the meds we needed. They ended up staying past closing time, but still even walked me out to help get my sedated dog in the car. While I hope we don't need urgent care again anytime soon, this is where we'll go if we do! We've gone to several vet urgent cares in the area, and this has been the best.

Our senior beagle pup, Tessa, was struggling with a condition that became critical in the evening hours last week. Megan was our provider and she was exceptional. If the Hampton Roads Veterinary Urgent Care was a standard vet (with regular care), we would bring our pups there every time! Thank you for your kindness and professionalism!

I visited Hampton Roads Veterinary Urgent Care for my cat. We were seen quickly and the staff were incredibly nice. I’m always afraid about how stressed my cat will be but they had us in and out quickly!

I took my dog in because I thought he ate a sock. The team there took such wonderful care of my sweet boy. We were in and out in less than an hour. They were able to induce vomiting and retrieve the sock. So glad I took him in when I did. I hope we never have to go back again, but if we do I most certainly would go there again. I can’t say enough great things about this place!!!!

I cannot recommend Hampton Roads Vet Urgent Care enough. They were able to quickly get my cat in, and out, after being denied by other urgent cares. Thankfully her injury was minor, and there was no shaming for her being an indoor/outdoor cat. With a kind staff, a clean facility, and great time management, this is the urgent care you want to bring your pet to!

After quite a few calls to vets that were closed, no appointments available, long waits, I was referred to try here. I arrived at the facility right when they opened. I was greeted by multiple staff members that were very kind and welcoming. They were able to see, diagnose, and treat my dog with a minor procedure. I am beyond thankful for the Dr and all of her amazing staff. All had a great bedside manor and outstanding care. Thank you so much <3

Our dog Archie ripped a nail completely off and we brought him in because we could not get the bleeding to stop. Despite making a huge mess everywhere we went, the staff was kind, compassionate and reassuring that this was completely normal and treatable. I really appreciated how quickly and professionally they treated Archie and how reassuring they were that Archie would be fine.

These guys are amazing. They were so comforting, knowledgeable and very personable. As someone with extremely anxiety they helped keep me and my kitty calm and were very upfront and honest. Also chatted with me a lot to keep me feeling confident. Highly recommend. Loved every single person there.

The he staff was friendly, calming and proficient. They provided exceptional care and compassion for emergency situations with your pet. I will be coming here with any pet emergencies in the future. Thank you to all the staff. Scout says thank you!
